About Liaoning University

Liaoning University (LNU) is a key comprehensive university under the administration of the Liaoning Provincial Government. It is a designated university under China's "Project 211" and is also part of the "Double First-Class" initiative.

Founded in 1948, Liaoning University was formed by the merger of the former Shenyang Normal College, Northeast Institute of Finance and Economics, and Shenyang Russian Language School. With over 70 years of development, it has evolved into a multidisciplinary institution covering literature, history, philosophy, economics, law, science, engineering, management, and medicine.

The university has two campuses: Chongshan Campus and Puhe Campus, covering an area of over 2,200 acres. It has 27 schools, offering 72 undergraduate programs, and hosts several national and provincial key laboratories and research centers.
