Gay-Lussac Engineering Alliance Prebachelor Programme
Institution Introduction
The Fédération Gay-Lussac (FGL), also known as the Gay-Lussac Engineering Alliance, was founded in 1994. It consists of 20 elite engineering schools in France, specializing in chemistry and chemical engineering. These institutions focus on high-level scientific research and the development of top-tier engineers in chemistry-related fields.
The alliance is named after Joseph Louis Gay-Lussac, an 18th-century French physicist and chemist. He is known for his discoveries in gas laws, the development of potassium and sodium production methods, and the discovery of boron and iodine.
Programme Structure
The Chemical Engineering Programme follows a comprehensive training model consisting of:
· 61% Core Subjects (Theoretical & Practical Courses)
· 20% Personal Projects (Lab Work, Internships, Research)
